Additional Payments made to Staff(Exempt Item)

Additional payments were considered by the Cleveland Police Authority 29/10/2012. Subsequent legal advice and discussions with auditors indicate that litigation would be appropriate.

Decision details exempt for disclosure under Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act1972, under paragraphs 1, 2 3 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

Scheme of Delegation (Amendment)

Following review of the Scheme of Delegation it had been brought to light that the points included in the old Scheme of Delegation refer to that of the Mayors Office for Policing and Crime only. Therefore the document has been updated to reflect the functions that pertain to the Cleveland Office for Policing and Crime (and all other areas).

This update has been presented to the joint PCC and CC Audit Committee and was noted (report amended scheme and minutes from the meeting attached).

Contract
Standing
Orders

At the Audit Committee held on the 21 March 2013, a paper and revised Contract Standing Orders were presented for Members of that Committee to recommend (or not) to the PCC to accept proposed changes to the Contract Standing Orders of the PCC.

These changes were in relation to the use of pre-qualified lists and also the process for dealing with contract changes. Full details of the proposed changes can be found in the Audit Committee Paper.
