During the course of an informal meeting at a non-police venue to discuss the Cleveland Police Chief Constable vacancy, the cost of coffee/light refreshments with a value of circa £5.00 were met by the prospective candidate. This ordinary business courtesy will be reciprocated by the Chief Executive on a future occasion at personal expense.
Mazars had extended an invitation to Michael Porter to attend the CIPFA North East dinner as a guest of Mazars. The dinner is being held within the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Newcastle on 3 May 2019. This offer has been declined.
As a token of appreciation for completing a work experience programme at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Cleveland, the work experience student kindly gifted 2 bags of assorted chocolates to the OPCC Team.
As a nominal gift of the value of approximately £10, it was agreed that the refusal of such a gift may cause offence.
