Thank you gift following assistance in organising attendees of Tees Valley Sports Charity Football Event.

There was no opportunity to decline as they were left in reception on staff member's day off.

Complimentary unlimited access to all the highly researched seminars, on-site accommodation, all meals and refreshments, plus a seat at the networking dinner taking place on the evening of Day 1.

03/2018-19 12/11/2018 Policing and  Human Rights Conference

 The offer includes attendance at a free continuous professional development (CPD) conference including the offer of a networking sandwich lunch and informal drinks reception.

The offer of the post-meeting hospitality has not been accepted but the offer of training attendance has been accepted as the conference is open to all invitees, with a broad sector circulation, no reciprocal obligation and will save public money in terms of meeting CPD obligations.

Two complimentary delegate passes to attend the Police Strategy Forum on 25th and 26th June 2019. This included unlimited access to the seminars, on-site accommodation, all meals and refreshments and a seat at the networking dinner taking place on the evening of day one.

During the course of an informal meeting at a non-police venue to discuss the Cleveland Police Chief Constable vacancy, the cost of coffee/light refreshments with a value of circa £5.00 were met by the prospective candidate. This ordinary business courtesy will be reciprocated by the Chief Executive on a future occasion at personal expense.

Mazars had extended an invitation to Michael Porter to attend the CIPFA North East dinner as a guest of Mazars. The dinner is being held within the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Newcastle on 3 May 2019. This offer has been declined.

As a token of appreciation for completing a work experience programme at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Cleveland, the work experience student kindly gifted 2 bags of assorted chocolates to the OPCC Team.

As a nominal gift of the value of approximately £10, it was agreed that the refusal of such a gift may cause offence.
