Residents and businesses in Cleveland will now have access to booklets with specialist advice about how to protect themselves from cybercrime.
The documents, funded by the North East’s three Police and Crime Commissioners, Vera Baird, Barry Coppinger and Ron Hogg, easy-to-follow, sensible advice to help peopleavoid and deal with cyberscams.
The new booklets, available free of charge, are:
- The Little Book of Cyber Scams – aimed at businesses
- The Little Book of Big Scams – aimed at families and businesses
Both have been developed in collaboration with local representatives from the Institute of Directors and the Federation of Small Businesses.
