Restorative Justice & Community Remedy Questionnaire

  • Restorative Justice, as undertaken by Cleveland Police, is a process whereby a first time offender who has committed a low level offence, and who expresses regret for their actions, undertakes reparative work to put right the harm they have caused as an alternative to going through the traditional criminal justice process.
  • 1. Do you agree with using Restorative Justice under these circumstances?
  • 2. Part of Community Remedy is a list of actions which might be appropriate to be carried out by a person who has engaged in anti-social behaviour or has committed an offence and is to be resolved without court proceedings.
  • Please select the top THREE sanctions, in your opinion.
  • 3. Do you have any other suggestions for possible actions for Community Remedy?
  • Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire.
