Anti-Social Behaviour Support Service
Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) and Harassment can take on many forms, some can be legally defined as crimes but can also include seemingly minor incidents that may not appear too serious. However when these relatively low level incidents are part of an ongoing and repeated ASB or Harassment, they can have a significant impact upon the victim.
Types of Anti Social Behaviour and Harassment can include:-
- verbal abuse or threatening behaviour
- persistent littering
- ‘pranks’ that get out of hand
The Victim Care and Advice Service will provide you with professional, personalised and independent support to help you cope and recover from the effects of the Anti-Social Behaviour or Harassment.
The Community Trigger is a process you can use to ask agencies to review their response to any anti-social behaviour you've reported.
You can use the Community Trigger if you've made three or more separate reports about the same problem in the past six months to your local council, Cleveland Police, or your landlord. You can also use the Community Trigger if more than one individual, business or community group has made five or more reports about the same problem in the past six months.
