The role holder took responsibility for the role of Interim Chief Executive & Monitoring Officer for the Office of the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire, as part of a collaboration from the 1st April 2019.
To reflect this additional responsibility, the post holder is paid an honorarium of £10,000 per annum which is not included in the FTE salary.
In addition, the post holder now works a standard 45 hour week to meet these additional responsibilities. He will be paid on this basis while undertaking the Interim role for the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire.
The Chief Executive spends 22.5 hours per week working for each organisation. Therefore, 50% of the costs are met by the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire.
Neither of these additional payments are part of the core remuneration for this role, and therefore not included within the above FTE salary. They will only be paid while the collaboration agreement is in place and the work is being undertaken, and paid for, by the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire.

The role holder took responsibility for the role of Chief Finance Officer for the Office of the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire as part of a collaboration agreement from the 14th July 2015.
To reflect this additional responsibility, the role holder was paid an honorarium of £10,000 per annum which is not included in the FTE salary. This payment has now increased to £10,633 as a result of inflation.
In addition, the role holder took responsibility as the Chief Finance Officer/Treasurer for the North Yorkshire Fire Authority from the 4th December 2018. He now works a standard 45 hour week to meet these additional responsibilities.
The post holder spends 22.5 hours per week working for the PCC in Cleveland, and a further 22.5 hours per week for the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner in North Yorkshire, of which 8 hours per week is spent on Fire Authority work.
