Charities across Cleveland can now apply for grants of up to £500 from the Autumn Activity Fund.
The fund will help to fund positive activities for young people during October’s half-term holidays and into November.
It aims to provide young people with a range of activities at a time of year when the colder weather and shorter days mean outdoor play isn’t the cheap and easy answer to finding something to do any more.
By engaging with younger members of the community, Cleveland OPCC hopes to help combat antisocial behaviour (ASB) and focus young people’s minds on positive pastimes.
Applicants must be:
- A registered charity;
- Prepared to give the OPCC a progress report, outlining how the grant has been spent and how many young people have been reached.
Grants are limited to £500 per organisation. They will be funded from the Police Property Act Fund.
- Deadline for applications: 23.55 on Friday 11 October 2024
