| CRIME PREVENTION: Gerry's Top Tip! |
| A staggering 1 in 3 burglaries are via insecure doors and windows. We often see a spike in walk in burglaries during the warmer weather, so If you are out in the back garden, make sure that you are locked up at the front. If you can’t see the door, lock it! - Don’t leave keys in the door, or by the door, keep them out of sight in a safe place.
- Secure windows.
- Use an alarm chime feature but don’t rely on this alone, and set your alarm overnight.
- Check on friends and relatives, that they are secure too.
