| 10 principles of crime prevention The top tip for this month is the fourth of ten principles of Crime Prevention: ‘Reducing the payoff’ for the criminal, this might be by not buying goods that you believe to be stolen, or by marking of your property, which can make it more readily identifiable and difficult for a thief to pass on. Retailers often remove a component part or use dummy display products. |

| Tees River Rescue is an independent rescue charity based on the River Tees. As well as providing search and rescue, TRR patrols the River at peak times throughout the year and provides education, support and reassurance for river users up and down the 26.7 miles of navigable river.
