CRIME PREVENTION:
Gerry's Top Tip!

10 principles of crime prevention

For this month’s tip, we consider the 2nd principle of crime prevention.

Target Removal.

The target could be an object or even a person, and by removing it from a location, it can make it more difficult to steal or attack.

For example, removing items on view, such as a coat from the back seat of a car, or something in view of the window in the home, can prevent a crime occurring.
