The impact of a hate crime is often deeper than “just” the incident itself.
Many people tell us they feel:
- Targeted for who they are
- Anxious or fearful about going out
- Angry, numb, or confused
- Worried it might happen again
- Reluctant to tell friends, family, or the police
Hate crime can affect your mental health, relationships, work, education, and your sense of belonging in your community. You deserve support that recognises this and takes it seriously.
