The northern echo has just published a series of articles with regards to operation Magnolia. One of these articles featured the PCC. The northern echo quoted the PCC as saying “since taking office in May 2024, I have been briefed regularly on this matter by chief officers from the Cleveland Police, to seek reassurance about the status of the investigation “ and “ through my quarterly briefings, I will continue to seek assurances that all possible progress is being made to secure justice for those affected “
Under section 1(1) FOIA please provide me with All the briefing information from the PCC briefings that he says he has received from senior police officers since he came into office in May 2024 . He stated that he received such briefings every quarter.’
To make things very clear to you. I am requesting ALL recorded information that you hold, in any format and from All departments . It is now undeniable that you do hold so information because the PCC has informed the northern echo that he receives updates every quarter and may have done so since May 2024

We have enclosed the meeting invitations of the quarterly update given to the PCC in relation to Operation Magnolia. Please note however, these briefings are verbal and are not recorded in any format.
Some information has been redacted on the meeting invitations as it is withheld under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, as it comprises of personal data about a third party. Disclosing this information would contravene the data protection principles under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. As Section 40(2) is an absolute exemption, there is no requirement to a public interest test.
We also supplied you with the same or substantially similar information in response to one of your previous requests received on the 11th March 2026 (ref 0056-25-26).
