- Please can you tell me how many Police Misconduct Panels have taken place within your police force for the following periods.
- 1 January 2024 – 30 June 2024
- 1 July 2024 – 31 December 2024
- 1 January 2025 – 30 June 2025
- 1 July 2025 – 31 December 2025
- 1 January 2026 – 30 June 2026
- For each of the above Police Misconduct Panels (in Question 1) please tell me how many Independent Panel Members were included for each panel. For example, 10 panels with 2 IPMs, 4 panels with 1 IPMs or 3 panels with 0 IPMs.
- Please can you tell me how many Police Vetting Panels have taken place within your police force for the following periods.
- 1 January 2024 – 30 June 2024
- 1 July 2024 – 31 December 2024
- 1 January 2025 – 30 June 2025
- 1 July 2025 – 31 December 2025
- 1 January 2026 – 30 June 2026
- For each of the above Police Vetting Panels (in Question 3) please tell me how many Independent Panel Members were included for each panel. For example, 10 panels with 2 IPMs, 4 panels with 1 IPMs or 3 panels with 0 IPMs.

5. There are currently 11 Independent Panel Members registered within Cleveland to take part in Misconduct Hearings.
6. Similar to national practice, our Independent Panel Members were given the opportunity to sit of Vetting Panels, and 9 Cleveland IPMs have undergone the training for this in July/August 2025. We have no IPMs that sit solely on the Vetting Panels.
