2019-20
Domestic abuse: £193,000

Sexual violence: £178,234.45 (+137% – increase of £102,908.45)
The marked increase in funding for domestic abuse and sexual violence charities in the last financial year is the result of an increased investment by the Government during the coronavirus pandemic.
In total, Cleveland OPCC secured an additional £569,675 from the Ministry of Justice for services supporting victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Funding was provided to existing OPCC commissioned services, plus a number of other services not currently commissioned by the OPCC.
