Mrs Lisa Oldroyd has formally been appointed as Chief Executive and Monitoring Officer for Cleveland Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC.)
This follows unanimous support from the Cleveland Police and Crime Panel.
Paragraph 7 of Schedule 1 of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 requires the PCC to appoint some-one to act as Chief Executive when
the post becomes vacant.
Paragraph 9 of Schedule 1 further requires the PCC to notify Police and Crime Panel members of the proposed appointment.
In notifying the Panel of a proposed senior appointment, the PCC must provide certain information. This is specified in the Act.
