At the Audit Committee held on the 27th June 2013, the first Code of Corporate Governance since the election was presented to the independent Members of the Committee.
They were asked to scrutinise the contents and recommend that the PCC adopts the Code subject to their review. They duly did this.
The adoption of this Code of Corporate Governance also completes the only action that arose from the recent Internal Audit review of the Goverance Arrangements post the election of thePCC.
This code effectively brings together 5 documents, previously adopted by the PCC into an overarching framework. These documents are:
- Decision Making Structure
- Scheme of Delegation
- Financial Regulations
- Contract Standing Orders
- Anti Fraud and Corruption Strategy
