The Teeswide Safeguarding Adults Board (TSAB) is funded by the four Tees Local Authorities.
In addition, TSAB receives funding from North and South Clinical Commissioning Groups and Cleveland Police (through the Police and Crime Commissioner.)
TSAB is the statutory body that sets the strategic direction for adult safeguarding.
It is responsible for protecting and promoting an adults right to live an independent life, in safety, free from abuse and neglect.
TSAB has strong links with local strategic partners including Children’s Safeguarding Partnerships.
