On the 2 February 2022, the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) concluded the selection process for the Chief Constable of Cleveland Police
This resulted in the Commissioner selecting a preferred candidate. The PCC has selected Mark Webster.
The PCC will ask the Police and Crime Panel to consider and make a report to him on the proposed appointment, at a confirmation hearing on 10 February 2022.
