Executive Summary:
NEPO carried out a benchmarking exercise against the old Framework Contract, Government Procurement Service (GPS) Contract and the Eastern Shires Procurement Organisation (ESPO) Contract
As a result of this procurement exercise, 27 providers are included within this Framework, which provides access to a wide range of vehicles.
On the Blue Light Procurement Database (BLPD) there are other vehicle hire contracts, however these are not available for all Forces to use. Cheshire Police are in the process of a National Tender Exercise, however this is not available at this time. The NEPO arrangement offers value for money and enables us to use suppliers which are from the local economy.
