The Police Cadets is the nationally recognised police uniformed youth group throughout the UK .
It encourages the spirit of adventure and good citizenship among members. As part of their work supporting communities and policing, Redcar & Cleveland Police Cadets arranged a trip to Beamish Museum for residents in care homes that are living with dementia.
Beamish is an open air museum telling the story of life in North East England during the 1820s, 1900s and 1940s.
The Police Cadets requested funding from the PCC to pay for the coach hire for the day and entry fee into Beamish Museum. The total cost of the trip is £586.50.
The trip supports the PCC’s priorities of Securing the Future of Our Communities.
