The Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team was established 52 years ago and is presently made up of 43 local volunteers.
The team covers Cleveland and North Yorkshire and deals with a variety of situations from falls and trips to helping the police search for missing people.
The team has asked for funding to purchase new casualty bags and group shelters. The current ones are now worn and less waterproof.
This application supports the PCC’s objective of Working Together to Make Cleveland Safer.
