Cleveland PCC has awarded a new contract worth £3,555,871.20 to Phoenix Software Ltd.
The contract is to provide a three-year, Microsoft Enterprise Agreement for use with desktop/laptop operating systems, office software, and M365 applications and licences in the
Azure tenant.
The licence also includes Licencing of Endpoints for Windows and Office 365, including security,
management of mobile devices and access to M365 services including Teams
The current contract is due for renewal on 1 October 2025. Microsoft has replaced the
ramped discount, whch was in place previously, with the standard 32% discount on the E5 licenses for the full three-year EA period.
Prior to renewal, Digital Services and ICT looked at the current estate and agreed how many licences should be renewed.
the quote was evaluated by ICT, digital Services and Procurement following a compliant route to market. This was via the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) Framework for the supply of IT Hardware, Networking & Security Equipment and Commercial off the Shelf Software (COTS) Ref.2821-2022,
It was shown that this was the most economic route.
