Normanby Allotment Association helps members take part in the hobby of gardening.
Gardening – and the association – promotes health, education and community fellowship. The association also promotes prevention of crime and anti-social behaviour within the allotments.
The Association has applied for funding to purchase 46 padlock alarms to provide extra security for allotment holders after a number of recent burglaries.
The Force’s Crime Prevention Team have liaised with the Association and will deliver the alarmed padlocks and provide some guidance to the allotment holders.
This initiative supports the PCC’s priority of Working Together to Make Cleveland Safer.
