Police and Crime Plan 2024-29

Cleveland PCC Matt Storey has launched Cleveland Police and Crime Plan covering his four years in office.

Matt has chosen six priorities to support his vision of building “safe, strong and confident communities.”

The six priorities are to:

Deliver more visible and effective policing;
Reduce crime, antisocial behaviour and harm;
Improve safety for women and girls;
Build trust and confidence in policing and the justice system;
Ensure the right support for victims and vulnerable people;
Tackle offending and re-offending.

Our progress against the Plan

For the first time, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland has published a detailed Delivery Plan to accompany Matt’s Police and Crime Plan. This document demonstrated what the OPCC will be working on over the next twelve months to deliver on the priorities set by Matt.

This marks a new level of transparency and accountability with updates shared with the Cleveland Police and Crime Panel and to be published online.
