I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:
- Total allocation to the force;
- Total allocation within that budget and costs associated with the Office of the PCC, Office of the Deputy PCC, and any related governance activities.

I wrote to you on Thursday 22 November requesting clarification on what you meant by ‘related governance activities’ in the second part of your request. I chased this request again on Friday 30 November.
As I have not heard from you in regards to this clarification, I have provided as much information as possible in my response, which will reach you within the 20 working day deadline.
This request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Regarding your request I can now inform you that I have completed my enquiries and that my reply on behalf of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland is as follows.
I can confirm that the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland does hold this information.
1. The PCC approved the following information for the 2018/19 budget in February 2018:
The PCC approved the total allocation of £134,644k of revenue funding.
2. He approved the allocation of this funding in the following areas:
- £119,770k to Cleveland Police
- £860k to run the Office of the PCC
- £3,939k to support the PCC Initiatives and Victims and Witnesses Services
- £9,475k for Corporate Services
- £1,400k to the Capital Programme
- £150k to Earmarked Reserves
- This is supported by £950k from General Reserves
There is no Office of the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner.
