1b). The LQC list for the North East and Yorkshire has 36 LQCs of which 16 are currently
available for appointment. There are several reasons why LQCs may not wish to be
considered for a specific period – including work and family commitments.
In terms of your request for the names of LQCs, I can confirm that the OPCC holds this
information. However, after careful consideration it has been decided that this
information is exempt from disclosure under section 40(1) of the Freedom of Information
Act, as the information you are requesting is personal data and would be contrary to the
Data Protection Act 2018.
