The Commissioner joined a united response from the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) welcoming changes to the Police and Criminal Evidence Act. The changes will ensure detainees in police custody are treated with dignity and respect, as well as guaranteeing provision of sanitary products in custody. (1 October 2018)
