The Commissioner has written to Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary Sir Tom Winsor following his recent visit to Cleveland. (15 March 2019)
During the visit, Sir Tom identified areas, in which there remains room for improvement within
Force.
The visit also gave the PCC and Cleveland Police the chance to explain their plans to address those areas.
The PCC pointed out that his scrutiny programme complements that of HMICFRS in
supporting the Force to identify, understand and tackle areas for improvement.
