This decision enters into a refreshed collaboration agreement for the provision of Chief Finance Officer services with the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC) for North Yorkshire.
Following a review of the efficiency and effectiveness of these arrangements which have been in place since 2014, it is recommended that service provision should continue by way of a refreshed collaboration agreement.
The proposal is to extend arrangements until 31 March 2026. This arrangement can be terminated with at least nine-months’ notice.
The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire presently pays a fee equivalent to 50% of the cost of the Chief Finance Officer services, this resourcing arrangement will remain the same and is underpinned by the terms of the agreement.
