St Ann’s Partnership was founded in February 2006 by members of the local community. The organisation promotes and facilitates regeneration, renewal and well being work in and for the local community.
It is a small charity, which aims to provide, promote and develop projects, initiatives and opportunities. They, in turn, should alleviate residents’ disadvantage and poverty.
The vision is to build the capacity of and empower disadvantaged communities, groups and individuals.
The partnership aims to do this through the provision of resources and support and empowering residents to become stakeholders in their local communities. It aims to motivate and educate while at the same time maintaining a flexibility. This allows generated demands and individual commitments to be met.
The charity is based and work in partnership with The Willows Community Centre. It is located at the heart of the Portrack and Tilery estates, in Stockton-on-Tees. The estates are part of the wider St Ann’s area.
The Partnership will use funding to host a community event aimed at children and young people with the aim of diverting them from antisocial behaviour.
The below decision follows a review of an application received by the PCC.
