Justice First holds an annual multi-cultural football tournament.
It is a charity, which was formed in 2006. It works with asylum seekers in the Tees Valley.
The charity has asked for funding towards its annual football tournament, which takes place on Saturday 15 June.
The aim of this event is to promote community cohesion, reduce fear of crime/fear of authorities and enhance social integration between various social and cultural groups living in Teesside.
Organisations such as health services and the Police will be invited to attend and hold a stall. This will help refugees and asylum seekers to understand how to access public services and to encourage them to report crime. T
Funding will pay for pitch hire including referees for the day and catering for the 200 attendees.
This tournament supports the PCC’s objective of Securing the Future of our Communities.
