The Lord’s Taverners is a UK youth cricket and disability sports charity.
One of their sports projects is Wicketz.
Wicketz is a community cohesion project, which uses cricket to engage young people aged 8-19.
Those children and young people are experiencing deprivation and disadvantage across Hartlepool.
The priority of Wicketz is to use cricket to address the local issues that are affecting young people in those communities.
The Lord’s Taverners create a range of opportunities for young disabled people and those from deprived areas to engage in sport and recreational activities.
Activities take place in their local communities and support some of the most marginalised and at-risk young people.
