Media Cultured CIC is a UK-based social enterprise.
It designs and delivers ‘identity and integration’ workshops to enhance social cohesion and counter radicalisation and racism in the UK.
Media Cultured has made an application to introduce and distribute its product in to a total o 10 schools, academies and colleges in Teesside.
Schools that choose to take up the initiative will the be invited to attend a one-off training day supplied by Media Cultured.
On successful completion of the training; attendees will receive education materials along with a lesson plan.
The effect of this work will be to educate and support students. It will help to promote social cohesion by challenging racism, pathways to radicalisation and promote the ‘shared values’ required to build strong and united communities.
This initiatives supports the PCC’s priority diverting people from offending, with a focus on rehabilitation and the prevention of re-offending.
