The Police Arboretum Memorial Trust is aiming to raise at least £4 million to design, build and maintain a new UK Police Memorial.
The Memorial which will be based at the National Arboretum is due to completed in 2019.
All PCCs have been requested to provide a contribution towards the UK Police Memorial.
Cleveland PCC has approved a £1,000 contribution towards the project.
