CURV is a small team within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland.
The team works closely with partners and funded services to provide strategic leadership and coordination on violence reduction across Cleveland.
Working in partnership allows CURV to make long-lasting and sustainable change, which it couldn’t do on its own.
The CURV team is made up of the following:

They will continually develop the violence reduction partnership, by strengthening relationships and working collaboratively with partners and the community.
Analytical and Insights Officer
The Analytical and Insights Officer leads on the collection and analysis of data about violent crime.
This enables the team to know what’s happening across Cleveland and identify any hotspots, to understand the causes and drivers of crime.
They measure the outcomes of preventative interventions, to inform future delivery of all collaborative work.
Project and Delivery Manager
The Project and Delivery Manager uses available evidence to identify opportunities for partnership and multiagency solutions to reduce violent crime.
They have management and oversight of interventions across the Cleveland area.
