The PCC holds weekly meetings with the Chief Constable.
They help to maintain an effective and productive working relationship between the two leaders.
The weekly meetings facilitate an open and honest exchange of information.
Meetings also provide the opportunity to resolve issues/disputes and allow the PCC to hold the Chief Constable to account.

- Matters of immediate concern;
- Trends in performance and incidence of crime that may impact on priorities in the Police and Crime Plan;
- Strategic proposals of the PCC/Chief Constable not considered in other forums;
- Matters raised by the Police and Crime Panel;
- Strategic finance;
- Personnel matters;
- Public concerns;
- Strategic policing initiatives; and
- Complaints and misconduct issues.
