- The Theory of Change was introduced to CURV core members – and approved – on 27 March 2023.
- A summary of how the Theory of Change and Logic Model was developed.
- The development of the Theory of Change followed a sequence of events, commencing with the receipt of the CURV Strategic Needs Assessment in December 2023, which allowed for the drafting of the Response Strategy in January 2023. Simultaneously, CURV was holding Theory of Change Workshops between December 2022 and March 2023 with the service provider who had been commissioned to draft the Theory of Change. The availability of the SNA and Response Strategy allowed the ToC to be developed, refined and finalised over these workshops.

Since its adoption, CURV’s Thery of Change has been formally evaluated twice by Crest Advisory.
A Mid-Year review report was published in October 2023 and an End of Year Report was published in March 2024. An abridged copy of the end of year review is attached highlighting CURV’s progress against the Theory of Change, which captures the progress identified at the mid-year review point. 2023: 7 (formally evaluated or internally gathered information on impact (rather than just delivery and case studies).
2024: Ongoing evaluations for 8 interventions. Not due for completion until 2025.
